• WHAT TO DO: You want to focus on listening and understanding the story. As you listen to the story, write notes IN SPANISH of what IN YOUR OPINION seem to be the core facts of the story. Based on the notes you take, you will write IN SPANISH a summarized recount of the story. Your recount should have 15 sentences minimum, and should be submitted in the attached Google doc

7th grade:

• Last week we introduced "La abuela de Juanita". Using Quizlet you familiarized yourself with the meaning of some phrases , and then you translated that short story.
• This week you are going to process your understanding of the story by reorganizing some of its sentences and answering questions about the facts in the story.

This week's assignment is a review and a less extensive assignment as an appreciation to all the hard work you've been doing. I can't dressed enough but MAKE SURE to answer the questions in the Google Doc. with full sentences. THOROUGHLY READ the instructions in that document.

7th grade:

• Using the Quizlet link you are going to work in familiarizing your self with the meaning of different phrases. Working thoroughly on these phrases will make the assignment on the Google doc a lot easier:
•  With the Flash card activity work on internalizing the meaning of the pharses. Do several rounds until you fill you can get around 75% of the phrases or more before flipping each card. REMEMBER…this phrases may have new words but they are built on words you are already familiar with.
• After the Flash cards, work on the Spell or Write activity options from the Quizlet activities menu. The Write activity may feel a bit more challenging than the Spelling activity, see what fits you best. If you can do both:
• GOOGLE DOC: Read the short story "La Abuela de Juanita" and write the English translation to the best of your ability, under each linea and phrase. This is the only part of this week's assignment that you submit.
